Two years ago, God planted a vision in my heart that has grown into a beautiful journey of faith, mission and service. After returning from ASI Mission Impact Barbados in 2024, the Lord impressed upon me the need to establish ASI Mission at the Penwood SDA church and on September 28, 2024, the Penwood ASI Mission 2000 and Beyond was born. What started as a vision has grown into a mission family of 45 missionaries who have answered the call to go, serve, witness and share Christ wherever He sends them. Our prayer is that the Penwood ASI Mission will continue to be a mission family where people discover their purpose, develop their gifts and dedicate their lives to Christ and His mission.

Today, marks an important milestone, our second (2nd) anniversary and we say “To God be the glory great things He has done” as we have witnessed hearts touched by the gospel, relationships formed through service and lives impacted in the Waterhouse community and beyond.
We celebrate every person who has joined this mission family, every supporter who has contributed resources, every person who has sent a prayer to Heaven’s throne room on our behalf, every parent/guardian, and every person who has opened a door for mission.

Leadership
Lenworth Turner was elected as the President of the ASI Mission EJC Chapter and it is a moment of great pride and joy for the Penwood ASI Mission family.
We celebrate his faithful service and pray for God’s continued guidance and blessing as he leads the East Jamaica Conference Chapter.

A team travelled to Colombia to spread the gospel. Through preaching and teaching, the missionaries used their gifts and talents to share the message of Jesus with everyone they met, carrying the mission far beyond home.

16 missionaries from the Penwood chapter participated in the ASI Mission Impact Dominican Republic 2026. Serving alongside fellow missionaries, they used their gifts and talents to bring the message of Jesus to others, and proudly represented Jamaica along the way.
